Mr. Nolan Jager Loyde currently serves as a Director of Fine Arts in Round Rock ISD in Round Rock, Tx.  He received his Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of North Texas, a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Stephen F. Austin State University, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Educational and Community Leadership from Texas State University.

Beginning his career at Westfield High School in Spring ISD, bands and orchestras under Mr. Loyde’s direction have earned consistent superior ratings in Texas University Interscholastic League Concert and Sight Reading Evaluations. Complementary to these achievements, the Sudler Shield nominated programs under his direction have consistently succeeded in several marching events including Bands of America Regionals, Super Regionals, and University Interscholastic League State Competitions.  

Mr. Loyde continues his professional impact by serving as a nationally recognized adjudicator, clinician, and conductor, appearing at the Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic, Music For All Summer Symposium, Drum Corps International, numerous State Music Educator Conferences and Marching Championships, and many Bands of America Regional, Super Regional, and National events.  Mr. Loyde is grateful for the opportunity to continue sharing his experiences and perspectives with educators, students, and community members who are passionate about the arts, personal growth, student achievement, and leadership.
